For other news, I have a new name~! Remember that past entry when I was talking about altering the name "Kitsune" because there are just WAY too many of them out there? Well, I recieved an e-mail from someone who read my diary entry and suggested I use the name "Kyubi Kitsune". (FYI, kyubi refers to the 9 tails and this one has a special link to the spirit world.) I liked the name so much I tacked it on and have been signing all of my recent pieces under the title, "Kyubi Kitsune". Some places, you may see my name pop up as Kyubi Kitsy as well. That sort of came from an accidental misspelling of "Kitsu" and it stuck. ^_^ Feel free to call me whatever you like, be it "Kitsune" out of habit, or "Kyubi-chan" if you prefer! XD

Also~! I have been working on a lot of comic projects as of late... My strip, Culture SHOCK! is being put on indefinite hold. (For lack of inpsiration and/or time...) In the meanwhile, I'm working on a couple new projects in addition to the Tamlin comic I had mentioned earlier. (One of which is with a western-based doujinshi circle, Ketsurui. A lot of things are still in the works there, but I'll be posting bits and pieces of my on going work here, (i.e. character designs and a little info about the plot) so stay tuned!)

In other news! The ArtCorner will be making an appearance at the anime con of the east coast, Otakon! I wish I could go, but I drained all my savings just to make it to Anime Expo. *weeps* Instead, a bunch of the REFFs are going to make a showing there with a demobook portfolio that we put a lot of time and energy putting together. If you are attending, stop by and say hello! They'll also be selling some prints as part of a fund-raiser in hopes of possibly starting up an TAC artbook in the future! (There's a few prints of mine that Lorelai'll be selling in limited quanities! *hint hint~!* ^_-) They will also be participating in the masquerade show there as well!

On a more personal note... have you ever had those days when you didn't want to do anything but your own thing because everything else just burns you out? That sums me up for this entire summer... ^_^;; I feel like a bump on a log. I should be looking for a part time job, but I'm really tired of ending up with the piddly minimum wage jobs that expect slave labor out of you... >_<; I think I'll just hold out until the school year starts, because I want to enjoy my summer for once. For the past years, I've worked or took summer classes to keep me busy. It just reached a severe boiling point last semester when I really didn't care much anymore for classes, grades, or work because graduation kept looking further and further away... But you know... I think I've learned a lot in my time off... I realized how important art really is to me and how much I really love what I do. With that knowledge, I opened myself up to learning new things. I feel I've made a huge improvement in my CGs.. although my drawing needs a little more work now. ^_^; I'm more self-motivated to stretch my abilities and strengthen my weaknesses. SO~! Where does this all lead? I'm returning to art as my major! Even though I have a desire to finish college as soon as possible, I'm willing to work hard and do this! So please wish me the best of luck and hopefully, you'll see the "fruits of my labor" here~ (well, so to speak. ^_^)
