Okay~ I know I was going to update a whole lot more often and with more artwork and stuff, but I've been so terribly busy with my classes and everything has stressing me out.. T_T;;; I was thinking about majoring in Art, but gads.. I'm already in my 5th year of college and to get a degree in Art, it'll take at least 2 more years of HARD work. My parents, who've been funding my education to this point in time, were expecting me to graduate last semester. :\ So I'm sort of in a dilemma. I want to get an art degree, but don't really have the time or money to pursue it. I will be getting a degree in Asian Studies... but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with that. My emphasis is on Japan, but I'm most interested in culture and the arts. What sort of work I'll find, I'm not sure... but I've found that Asian Studies by itself isn't worth all that much. People I know of in this major are going for their masters in things like Finance and business... and truthfully, that's where the money is, but I'm not that type of person. *sigh*

So~ here I am, taking 3 intermediate level studio classes and 2 writing intensive Chinese literature/film classes (in translation). I really don't mind my studio classes, but I didn't realize just how much time they would eat of my schedule. I was intending to find a job to help supplement my budget because a good chunk of my savings went to funding my trip to Anime Expo 2000 this past year. However, at this point in time, I just don't have the time to work... and if I did, I wouldn't have time to do anything but sleep and eat in my "freetime". Doi~..

Well~ this brings me to my latest update~! ^^ I managed to do my update while I was sick over the past week. Most of my drawings were just pumped out in that short time span and I spent a whole day checking and adding artist links. I seem to be the most productive when I really should be doing other things. ^^;;; I didn't write the papers or draw the assignments I was supposed to do over that time.. I sort of procrastinated until the very last minute and suffered from lack of sleep. *laugh* I wanted to update but I wanted something to show for. Some of the things I really want to improve on are getting emotions in the faces of my characters, draw them in dynamic poses, and put in backgrounds (gosh darnit~~!). I don't think I'm really learning how to do stuff like that in my art classes right now. o_O;; (Well, okay.. maybe I'll get the dynamic poses down in my life drawing class, but my other classes are talking about other stuffs at the moment.) I guess I should just take things one thing a time. ^_^;

So, anyhoo~ You may not see updates from me all that often, but hopefully I'll be able to have some to show for my absence when I do. ^_^ Thanks for all the e-mails of encouragement from those who take the time out to message me! I really appreciate it! *hugs*
